From today, people who wish to visit loved ones in care homes around the country will have to produce their covid papers to prove that they’ve been double vaxxed before they can gain entry to see their loves ones.
It’s understood that there will be an exception for compassionate reasons but otherwise those who have chosen not to be vaccinated for whatever reason, or those who medically cannot get vaccinated will not be allowed in to see their loved ones in care homes.
Many on social media feel that this move by NPHET and the government is absolutely disgraceful.
