Majella Monaghan said that she kept her story secret for 34 years because she felt shamed but it’s the gardai’s shame, not hers.
She became pregnant from another garda and gave her little baby up for adoption.
Majella says that gardai made her feel tiny and treated her with contempt.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris said that what happened to her was wrong on every level.
According to RTE, Ms Moynihan says that she has heard from no one, not Leo Varadkar, Simon Harris, Drew Harris or Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan.
Majella just wants an apology from Harris and wants to get on with her life and try to be happy.
