Authorities in the Dail plan on hiring fitness instructors even though not many members use the Dail gym as it is.
The successful candidate is expected to be paid €160,000 excluding VAT over a four-year period, which is said to include weightlifting and cardio workouts.
This latest disgraceful act comes just a number of months after the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission sought tenders for new gym equipment worth €100,000 plus VAT.
