The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said that he’s confident that there’s going to be a vaccine for covid by the middle of 2021.
Speaking on Tuesday night’s Primetime, Varadkar said that he was going by what the World Health Organisation is saying in that they believe there will be a viable vaccine for coronavirus before summer 2021.
Varadkar’s comments were initially taken up there might be a vaccine by the new year but he did set the record straight last night by saying that he thinks there’ll be a vaccine by the middle of 2021.
