Varadkar: It’s very possible that coronavirus has been in Ireland since late last year

The caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said that covid-19 may possibly have been in Ireland as early as late last year in December 2019.

Varadkar said that France is very well connected to China and that Ireland is very well connected to France, so it is possible that coronavirus has been here for half a year.

The caretaker Taoiseach went on talk about the easing of lockdown measures and said that he’d rather have a plan that he could accelerate if it goes well rather than pause, draw out or go back on if they don’t go well.
