The caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has come out hard in defence of the new proposed draft deal that would see him as Tanaiste and Micheal Martin as Taoiseach.
Varadkar said that his, party membership, the Fianna Fail party and the Greens could reject the deal at their own peril and that there will be a political crisis if the deal is rejected.
Many, many people feel that it’s a case of ‘jobs for the boys’ if this deal does indeed go ahead. However, there’s a number of days before anything happens and nothing is certain at this point.
