A cynic would say that Micheal Martin is solely after power rather than having the slighting care in the world about the every day Irish person or the economy.
However, the Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin has said that his party are not losing their identity by entering a coalition with Fine Gael.
Speaking on Monday, Mr Martin said that the agreement is a historic moment in Irish history and the beginning of a new era.
The incoming Taoiseach also said that the new Government will look to create jobs and get the economy moving following the Covid-19 pandemic.
