Varadkar says he had successful meeting with “people of colour over eliminating racism in Ireland”

Apparently coronavirus and getting the economy up and running again isn’t a priority for the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar this week – it’s rampant racism in Ireland that’s on his mind.

Social media has been awash with commentary over Varadkar’s meeting to elimiate racism from Ireland.

The caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar took to social media to declare that he was using this opportunity with what is happening in America and the riots to talk to a number of people in Ireland about how he can eliminate racism from the country.

However, Varadkar will come under immense pressure if he moots for controlled speech about what people can and can’t say given how valuable people regard free speech in society.
