Venice to start charging an ‘entry fee’ to all visitors from next year




Venice will start charging an ‘entry fee’ to all visitors from next year.

The city will charge a fee of between 3€ and 10€ to all visitors.

The Italian city is the first one in the world to introduce such payment. Those found without an ‘entry’ ticket into Venice will be fined between 50€ and 300€.
