Veteran American actor John Saxon has passed away aged 83.
Saxon starred in dozens of movies and TV shows like Falcon Crest and Dynasty during a career spanning over 50 years, but he’s perhaps best known for portraying Roper, one of the fighters in the classic 1973 martial arts film Enter the Dragon, alongside Bruce Lee. Saxon also starred in the first and third installments of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, playing the role of cop Donald Thompson, and also had a part in New Nightmare.
Saxon passed away on Saturday from complications arising from pneumonia.
