President Donald Trump was meant to travel to Poland this weekend for a State visit but that isn’t happened as President Trump is staying in American given the severity of Hurrican Dorian.
Instead Vice President Mike Pence is travelling to Poland and thus bringing his Irish visit forward to Monday.
It’s understood that Vice President Pence will leave Poland for Shannon on Monday and meet with the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on Tuesday for a meeting in Dublin.
Further details of Vice President Pence’s visit are sketchy at this time but will be confirmed over the weekend.
