An Australian journalist and her cameraman were attacked by riot police in Washington DC with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison demanding police investigate the incident.
Journalist Amelia Brace and cameramn Tim Myers of 7News were attacked by riot police during a live broadcast when the crowd was forced to push back from the White House.
The below footage shows that Mr. Myers was struck with a protective shield and then slapped in the face. When the couple withdrew, Ms. Brace was hit with a police baton.
