The National Women’s Council of Ireland have announced that they will hold a vigil in memory of Ashling Murphy outside the Dail this Friday, 14th January from 4 – 5pm.
According to their Twitter account, the vigil is planned to take place around the time that Ashling was killed and is intended to remember her and to offer support to all those who knew and loved her.
The vigil is also intended to highlight the need to take such measures as are necessary to ensure the safety of women in Ireland.
They say that flowers or candles are very welcome.
