Visiting restrictions put in place at the University Hospital Limerick after winter vomiting bug outbreak




Management at the University Hospital Limerick have warned the public not to visit the hospital today as they are currently trying to contain an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

The hospital say the all departments except it’s A&E department are currently not open to visitors due to the outbreak.

It is believed the hospital has seen number of cases of Norovirus at its psychiatric unit. The HSE say all infection control measures are in place and the outbreak is being managed.
