China has been shocked by the horrific murder of a female vlogger, who died 16 days after being burned alive during one of her livestreams.
The victim, named ‘Ram’ by local media, passed away in a Chengdu hospital over two weeks after the was doused in petrol and set alight by an intruder while making one of her popular live broadcasts according to the Sun. Reports suggest the attacker was her abusive ex-husband, with whom she had two young sons.
She was attacked while lip syncing to a traditional Tibetan song, and suffered catastrophic injuries with burns covering 90% of her body. Ram had over 800,000 followers at the time of her tragic death.
