Vodafone have confirmed that a number of its services are down this afternoon.
In an announcement made on Twitter in the past few minutes the company confirmed that it is dealing with a potential outage to its fixed and mobile services.
The announcement comes after a number of customers complained that they had experienced problems with their phone coverage, 4G services and home Internet services.
It is believed that the outage is affecting customers in counties Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Galway, Kilkenny, Clare, Donegal and Tipperary.
Vodafone have apologised for any inconvenience caused and say they are currently working to resolve the issue.
