There have been calls for a homeless woman to become a professional opera singer after she was recorded on a Los Angeles subway singing “O mio babbino caro”.
A police officer from the Los Angeles police department released a video of Emily Zamourka with her shopping cart and reusable bags on the police’s Twitter account.
The caption read: “4 million people call LA home. 4 million stories. 4 million voices…sometimes you just have to stop and listen to one, to hear something beautiful.”
The 52-yr-old immediately went viral with over 1 million views with many claiming that she has the “voice of an angel”.
“With a voice like that, why doesn’t she have a career??,” said one Twitter user.
