Over the past few days the weather has left us pulling out the overcoat rather than the t-shirt, well if you are longing for some more summer sun you may be happy to hear the weather will pick up over the next few days.
According to Met Éireann Ireland will bask in glorious sunshine over the coming days with temperatures expected to reach 19C.
The good spell which may very well last until the end of the week, will start on Monday prolonged spells of sunshine expected throughout the day and temperatures expected to reach 19C.
Tuesday will see much of the same, although rain is expected western areas later in the day.
The national forecaster say temperatures will be slightly cooler in the West with temperatures ranging from 14-15C, whilst it could be warmer in Eastern regions with temperatures expected to reach 18C.
Later in the week will be slightly cooler as temperatures are expected to range between 11-15C, although sunny spell are expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
