Ireland could be about to see its first signs of summer as temperatures could reach 21C over the weekend.
According to forecasters both Saturday and Sunday will be largely dry with sunny spells expected throughout.
It is expected that Saturday will have a cloudy start to the day with some light showers early on the day, although the cloudy conditions will move eastwards later in the day making way for some sunshine particularly in Western areas.
Temperatures on Saturday are expected to range between 17 to 20C although it will be cooler overnight with highs of between 5 to 8C.
Meanwhile Sunday is expected to see the best of the weather as it will mostly be sunny throughout the day, although some cloud cover will build later on in the day.
Temperatures on Sunday are expected to range between 18 and 21C.
