There’s been multiple road traffic accidents reported across the the country today predominantly due to bad driving conditions.
The inclement weather conditions are causing heavy and dense fog with black ice on many B roads.
Gritters were out last night but not all roads were covered.
A four-vehicle crash occurred in Co. Louth at lunchtime between Collon and Ardee on the N2.
Two crashes were reported in Cork and three more in Co. Dublin.
