Thousands of people from Donegal and Mayo gathered in Dublin to protest in support to 100% redress for houses and other buildings affected by blocks shattered due to mineral mica.
Protesters gathered at the convention centre, where the Dáil is located, before marching towards Leinster House to physically hand over a protest letter.
This afternoon, a convoy of buses arrived from the northwest. They will return to the convention centre this evening later before returning home. They say that if they don’t get money to repair or rebuild that they’ll take other protest measures near the docks.
