Residents in Co Clare have been urged to exercise caution whilst out doors this weekend after Met Éireann issued a yellow status weather warning this evening.

The national forecaster has said there is a high probability of very strong west, veering northwest winds which are set to batter the West coast over the weekend.
Met Eireann say the winds which will last until Monday will reach speeds of 90 to 110km/h.
