Weather misery to continue into August

windyweather

Here in Ireland we usually think of summer as an imaginary season best enjoyed in the southernmost reaches of the European continent.

It has been particularly bad as of late, with the month of July turning out to be one of the wettest in recent years.

And it’s not getting any better anytime soon, according to the forecast. The miserable weather is set to continue for the rest of this week and into August, at least.

There will be some sunshine tomorrow, Thursday, and most places will remain dry. Friday will bring about more rain in the form of isolated showers.

Saturday is expected to be the best of a bad lot, with plenty dry weather and temperatures oscillating between 15-18C.

But Sunday will again be a miserable wet and windy day. Such unsettled conditions will continue into next month.
