The weather outlook for the week ahead looks promising as forecasters say it is to remain largely dry and temperatures will rise over the coming days ahead.
According to Met Éireann, the country will see some more seasonal temperatures and widespread sunshine as a high pressure moves across the country following Storm Erik.
It is understood that today Monday will remain largely dry with plenty of sunshine throughout the day and temperatures will range from between 7-10C.
The best of the weather is expected to come on Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures could reach a pleasant 13C, although some rain spells are expected early on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile Thursday will be relatively dry with some sunshine during the day whilst temperatures will range between 9-12C.
However Friday will see rain return early in the morning, but showers are expected to clear by the afternoon.
