The coming week is forecast to be rather unsettled weather wise, with heavy rain at times and nighttime temperatures as low as -2C.
A band of rain will spread northwards throughout Sunday, reaching Munster and Leinster by Sunday evening. Temperatures will remain relatively mild, with the thermometer reaching 13C in places.
Monday will be generally cloudy, with well scattered, showery rain.
The weather will take a turn for the worse from Tuesday on, with widespread heavy rain and temperatures reaching 11-12C.
Wednesday will see a similar pattern.
