Weather warning in place as Storm Hector approaches Ireland, bringing rain and strong winds of up to 130km/h





There is a Status Orange weather warning in place for a number of counties, as Storm Hector approaches with heavy rain and winds of up to 130km/h.

The warning, which will remain in effect until 10am on Thursday, affects Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo.

A Status Yellow warning has been issued for counties Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, and Kerry.
