A weather warning remains in place today in the aftermath of Storm Bella, and Met Eireann is forecasting miserable weather conditions for the rest of the week.
The warning is in place for counties Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, and Kerry until 2pm. Strong winds, with gusts of up to 110km/h are expected across many areas.
And there’s worst to come, as once these strong winds die down, freezing conditions will follow, with wintry showers, persistent rain, sleet, and even snow at times.
The coming nights are expected to be rather cold, with lows of -2 or -3C at times.
