WhatsApp will stop working on older iPhone devices from January 1.
From that date, the popular messaging app will no longer function on any iPhone running on software version prior to iOS 9.
Users of iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6, and 6S devices can upgrade to iOS 9 to keep WhatsApp functionality.
