Ireland has a new millionaire tonight after one lucky punter won the top prize of €1m in tonight’s Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The lucky win comes as there were no winners of the main jackpot worth just over €4.2m.
The numbers drawn in the main draw were: 9, 10, 23, 29, 42, 47 with the bonus number being 12.
Meanwhile the numbers drawn in the Plus 1 draw were: 8, 24, 27, 38, 39, 40, with the bonus number being 2.
Although it is not yet known where exactly the winning ticket was purchased, the National Lottery say the winning ticket was bought in Dublin.
