It will be a weekend to remember for one lucky punter as they managed to scoop the top prize of €250,000 in tonight’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.
The lucky win comes as there were no winners of the main jackpot worth just over €5.7m.
The numbers drawn in the main draw were 16, 24, 31, 39, 43, 47, with the bonus number being 17.
Meanwhile the number in the Lotto Plus 2 draw were 7, 9, 15, 41, 42, 45, with the bonus number being 29.
The National Lottery say the winning ticket was purchased in the Mid West.
