It looks like an absolute weekend washout with the national weather forecaster, Met Eireann predicting heavy rains and thunderstorms.
Today will be very wet from the afternoon but this morning will see light showers and some dry patches until around midday.
Tomorrow, Sunday will be cold with heavy showers in the morning but will clear over the day. Although dry for most of the afternoon, heavy rain will return for Monday.
Tuesday looks like it’ll be cloudy and windy but temperatures will rise to around normal for this time of year again.
People are advised to be careful out on the roads are cars will be driving slower due to the heavy rain.
