Around 80,000 people are expected to use Dublin Airport today, as the Christmas travelling season begins in earnest.
And according to figures released, travelling is up 18% on last year.
A total of 925,000 passengers are expected to use the facilities at the airport between today and the first of January.
Arrivals and Departures have been decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, trees, and other Christmas-related paraphernalia to greet those coming home or travelling elsewhere.
