A female taxi driver is recovering from a very traumatic experience that happened on Monday night in west Dublin.
The woman says she collected a couple from Lucan village and dropped them home. The couple were said to be jovial, friendly and in good spirits.
When she dropped them back to their house, the man started smashing the driver in the face repeatedly. Punch after punch went into the female driver’s face, who was petrified from the incident.
She managed to get herself to hospital with gardai launching an investigation into what the thug did and why he did such an act.
