Pope Francis has arrived in Ireland and has started his historic Papal visit.
The 81-yr-old has a whistle-stop 36 hour tour which has thankfully been greeted by beautiful sunshine.
The Pope was met two children who gave him flowers and received a blessing, and by the Tanaiste Simon Coveney.
He has already met the President and Taoiseach and will meet homeless people in the Capuchins later today.
