Remember the cheap rent bedsits of Rathmines and Ranelagh?
Well Flat 3, 54 Leeson Park, Ranelagh, Dublin 6, described online as having “a living and dining space with fitted kitchen complete with all appliances” conjures up those good old days of Bedsit-Land except for the rent, at a cool €1000 a month.
According to DublinLive, the kitchen is placed directly in front of the bed in the same way the bedsits of yesteryear were laid out.
Social media pundits are slamming the grand a month accommodation, says DublinLive.
The bed in the room blocks the windows – making them impossible to open or close and a potential fire hazard and despite being listed as having “a living and dining space with fitted kitchen complete with all appliances”, the kitchen facilities are placed directly in front of the bed.
We tried finding the flat online but it seems to have been taken off-line. Maybe it’s been rented already?
