In yet another shameful failure by the unelected Fianna Fail/Fine Gael/Greens coalition, 430 people are languishing in trolleys across Irish hospitals today.
University Hospital Limerick (UHL) and Cork University Hospital (CUH) are amongst the worst affected, with UHL reporting 57 patients on trolleys in A&E and 22 elsewhere in the hospital, and CUH reporting 40 patients on trolleys.
It has also emerged that there are fewer than 100 beds available in Irish hospitals as of today.
