The man representing the protesters in the national fuel protest, James Geoghegan, spoke on RTE’s PrimeTime and say that himself and his fellow-protesters are not scared of the army.
He said that they have an even bigger army of men on the ground.
Mr Geoghegan said that it’ll be practically impossible to move the vehicles, they’re too big and heavy.
Earlier, protesters said that if any soldier tried to get into their cab, they’d be getting into their cab also.
The protests continue into Day 4 today with representatives due to meet government Ministers this afternoon at 2pm.
