Reports say dozens of people have been injured in the attack including a policeman who was stabbed in the incident.
A number media outlets say the alleged attacker has since been shot.
Meanwhile Ministers inside Westminster attending Prime Minister’s questions time, have been told not to leave the building and avoid standing near the windows.
