The weather outlook for the weekend is looking far from promising as Met Eireann say it will be a wet and windy weekend.
According to the national forecaster the country will see more unsettled weather over the coming days.
Met Eireann say today will be mostly a wet day with persistent showers in the West and more scattered showers further East.
Meanwhile on Saturday it is expected to be a dull day with showers in the North and West of the country, with highs of between 15 to 19C.
Sunday will be a windy day in most regions with heavy showers expected once again in the North and West of the country.
