A chef at a UK branch of Wetherspoons has been suspended from work after releasing a series of videos explaining how the pub chain makes their cheap food, the Mirror reports.
J Salsa shocked TikTok audiences when he revealed that the pub’s Full English breakfasts are actually made from scratch, as opposed to from a microwave as many believed. In footage he can be seen using a frying pan and seemingly fresh ingredients.
He went on to record tutorials on how the popular franchise prepare their paninis, wraps, and chicken korma before his videos were spotted by Wetherspoons’ head office. He was suspended from work and awaits a disciplinary hearing on whether his revelatory videos will cost him his job.
He subsequently released a video captioned ‘I’m sorry Tim Martin’, the owner of Wetherspoons.
