A Wetherspoon’s pub in the UK is facing fierce public backlash after CCTV cameras were fitted inside the toilet area.
The Five Swans pub, sited in St Mary’s Place, Newcastle, is facing heavy criticism after a customer spotted the camera, which can be seen from inside the toilet cubicle, according to the customer.
In response, the pub managers said that the cameras are there to ‘monitor the floor’ to prevent spurious claims about people pretending to slip and fall to make a claim.
