Wetherspoon’s pub will not allow patrons with children to have more than two drinks while at their premises

A Wetherspoon’s pub will no longer allow patrons with children to have more than two drinks while at their premises.

The Robert Pockock pub in Gravesend has taken the measure in an effort to ‘protect children from harm’, after observing children running around ‘uncontrolled’ while their parents drank pint after pint.

According to a 1902 licensing act in Britain, it is illegal to be drunk while in charge of a child under the age of seven.

Do you think that a similar measure should be introduced in Ireland? Let us know in the comments below.
