“What about homeless Irish people?” – Public isn’t happy that Student Accommodation is to be used to house Ukrainians

Many people are beginning to get their head out of the sand and stand up for their fellow Irishperson – the one’s who have no home of their own and who so desperately need the help of this inept government.

It would appear that if you’re Irish and homeless that you don’t matter in the eyes of Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar and Eamon Ryan. They’re far too busy getting a good pat on the back from Joe Biden and the EU for their Ukrainian response of taking in hundreds of thousands of foreigners while our own lie on streets around the country.

There’s around 10,000 Irish people lying homeless on park benches, hotel rooms and shop doorways around the country.

Some of them have addiction problems, some of them have just fallen on hard times, but all of them deserve help from the government that will see them housed before any foreign national comes into Ireland.

However, it would appear that if you’re homeless and Irish then the government couldn’t less about you.

It’s emerged that some student accommodation will be used to house some of the 200,000 Ukrainians that are due to arrive in Ireland over the coming days.

Many believe that all this accommodation should be afforded to homeless Irish people first, long before anyone else is helped.
