We all know that tomato sauce is quick fix to put a flavour on most bland meals (provided they go together), however the popular sauce is now set to become part of a new twist as two companies in New Zealand have revealed there rather unusual combination.
In a new trend launched by both the Wattie’s company and the Tip Top ice-cream company, tomato sauce lovers can now get their hands on new daring concoction that is tomato sauce ice-cream.
Yep! In what will arguably cause many to wrench at the unusual idea, both companies have revealed that they are launching the limited edition ice-cream.
The rather unusual combination will apparently see of a traditional vanilla ice cream having a tomato sauce ripple running through it.
It is understood the idea which has already caused a stir on Facebook with over 21,000 comments and 3,000 shares, has seemingly had a mixed reaction with people commenting on the rather unusual combination.
