A woman issued a desperate plea in social media for help to eliminate a ‘gigantic’ Hunstman spider living in her dwelling.
The incident happened in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, in recent days.
The terrified resident claimed that the spider ‘came at her with raised legs and fangs’ when she approached it.
The animal was eventually removed safely.
Huntsman spiders, while large in size and venomous in nature, do not pose a serious threat to humans, though a bite can result in pain and swelling.
