
People are wondering where some 360 migrants will be placed once a hotel in Kerry ends its contract with the State next month.
Around 3,500 migrants are in Killarney, the majority of them in hotels. Many of them will be soon on the move as many of them say they’re not going to renew their contracts with the State.
360 migrants in Hotel Killarney will be moved from the area in the next month with hotel managers declaring that the hotel is open for business, open for tourism and that a six month contract extension is not going ahead.
Many business owners in the town say they’re very concerned the town’s world famous tourism has been utterly destroyed by the influx of migrants in the town over the past year.
