The World Health Organization (WHO) has deemed monkeypox a ‘global health emergency.’
WHO boss Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said ‘I have decided that the global monkeypox outbreak represents a public health emergency of international concern.’
So far, the disease has popped up in over 70 countries, with more than 14,000 cases reported.
