WHO says healthy people should not be wearing masks to protect themselves or others against Coronavirus

Healthy people should not be wearing face masks to protect themselves and, or others from the Covid-19 viruses the World Health Organisation has said.

“If you do not have any [respiratory] symptoms such as fever, cough or runny nose, you do not need to wear a mask,” Dr. April Baller, a public health specialist for the WHO.

This news comes after the White House health expert Anthony Fauci said he wears a mask to be a “symbol” of what “you should be doing” rather than as an actual protective gear which cloth masks are not.

The public has been given a number of contradictory pieces of advice from health experts who at first advised against wearing masks, however, once US President Donald Trump then said he would not be wearing a mask the advice changed and the refusal to wear a mask was used as political weapon against the world leader.

It appears now however, that President Trump has had the last laugh on the mask question as the very UN body which he defunded and removed the United States from as a member has now it has changed again its advice and confirmed the stance of the US leader as being the correct one.
