Widespread rain and humid conditions today and tomorrow, but finer weather will return from Thursday onwards

Heavy rain is expected in many areas throughout the day today, with little in the way of sunshine.

Humid conditions will be predominant, with temperatures ranging between 15 and 21C over the next two days.

Thursday will see a return to drier and sunnier conditions, giving way to a bright and somewhat cool weekend, with temperatures between 14-18C and just the odd scattered shower.
