A student in the US has hit the jackpot after winning a prize of $1 million from a lottery ticket.
According to UPI, Brian Donohue received a lottery ticket from his mother in his Christmas stocking and, to his delight, realised that he had scooped the top prize of $1 million after taxes.
He has already decided to use some of his winnings to pay for his college tuition.
